Book Review: Fear Nothing by Lisa Gardner-- Get Ready to Stay Up All Night

Fear Nothing by Lisa Gardner, the seventh in the detective D.D. Warren
series, is a psychological thriller that is a fast-paced and full of twists and turns, with interesting characters and heart-pounding edge of the seat action while keeping her signature formula intact. It is a suspenseful book with a sinister edge to it. This installment from the D.D. Warren series is simply absorbing. If you weren’t a Lisa Gardner fan before you will be now. Each book in this series can stand on its own so feel free to read them out of order, start with this one now :).

In Fear Nothing, Warren suffers from an avulsion fracture when she is taken by surprise by an assailant at a crime scene. She is advised to speak to Dr. Adeline Glen, who is a pain specialist. As she is recovering from her injury, a serial killer is on the loose in the streets of Boston, whose MO bears striking resemblance to Adeline’s own sister. This is a psychological thriller that delves into the concepts of nature vs. nurture.

Gardner does an amazing job of sprinkling the suspicion to multiple parties so you think everyone can be the killer. Gardener also has a propensity for giving the reader chapters from the killer’s point of view, which only further gives clues and throw suspicion to multiple characters.

If you read this I promise you’ll be on the edge of your seat and tired as you stay up all night reading this page turner. You won’t be disappointed. Share your thoughts and reviews on this and other books, movies, and games at
